How Parker got into triathlon

Parker Kerth was always an athlete. In high school, he wrestled, played soccer, and tennis, and even did gymnastics! While at first he hated running, he grew to love it especially once he got to college and could run in beautiful places.

After sustaining a running injury he started biking. Once his dad helped him improve his swimming technique he realized he could be a triathlete.

He did his first races without a coach and was quite successful–he even qualified for worlds! However, once he got a coach, his training went to another level.

How Parker helps his athletes

Since becoming a part of the NVDM triathlon team, he has developed a passion for coaching and has since become a senior coach.

Parker loves to help spark a passion for the training aspect of triathlon since that is the key to success. Parker uses data and analytics to help his athletes perform their best on race day.

How his coach has helped him
